[VIDEO] Survivalists Guide To Filet Fish

Fileting a fish for most people is an episode in “fish guts.” Understanding the biology of the fish, where things are, as it were, makes it a whole lot easier.

Watch this video to see how easy it is and when you are done, I'll offer a tip to remove that “fish smell” from your hands.

He makes it seem easy, but with practice it will be amazingly easy for even the casual fisherman.

Oh, that tip – when you are done, use a broad, stainless steel knife to “wash” your hands. Hold it gently with both hands and move each in tandem back and forth under water for about two minutes.

The fish smell will be gone if you fileted one or two fish and greatly reduced if you cleaned a bunch.

If you have tips for either fileting or removing the fish smell from your hands, let us know in the comment section below!
