(VIDEO) Survival Lilly Shows Us How She Sets Up a Shelter

Lilly setting up camp

Vancouver Island is definite bear territory, and unseasonably warm as Survival Lilly sets up her shelter for the next six days. Not only is it important that she stays safe from bears, but from other elements as well! See how she does it and take mental notes for when you travel and bug out:

That bear bag reached a pretty impressive height to avoid any interference! She was smart not to over exert herself on the first day after a long trip. Having prepared, simple meal options on days like that is essential. Is there anything else you would add to her first-day to-do list to setting up her shelter?

#1 Have a large caliber handgun on you in a very accessible location.

She has access to dense foliage, dry timber, and a fresh water supply that provides food! Horrible bug out location. Try a desert instead right? If you have a private jet to fly you to your most suitable bug out location, that helps drastically when there’s a crisis.
