Check out news stories nationwide and chances are you'll run into more than a few instances of criminals using duct tape to bind their victims. It seems that duct tape is not only the handyman's secret weapon but the criminal's, as well.

Chances are, you won't ever find yourself in a situation in which you're bound in duct tape, but that doesn't eliminate the possibility that it could happen.

What makes this an even worse situation is that you never know the criminal's true intent. Do they merely intend to rob you? Or do they have darker intentions in mind? Binding you puts you at their mercy, and at the mercy of a criminal is not a place you want to be.
