[Video] Step By Step Guide For Building an Epic Survival Shelter

No matter if you are a man or woman, shelter in the wild is critical. Watch this survivor as she uses basic gear, really only a few items, to get her shelter built and made optimal.

This video hit a home run for us. Have that folded tarp and twine ready. Then, get your serrated knife and/or small axe in your survival box or backpack. They are worth their weight in gold when it comes to making it through the night during adverse weather conditions.

Personally, we also like the idea of having a second smaller tarp inside your pack. You lay it inside your shelter and, with or without a bedroll or sleeping bag, the cushioning makes reclining more comfortable. As the survivor in the video noted, the aluminum covering reflects body heat. In other words, you can get warmth from the top and bottom inside of the shelter.

Thanks again to the maker of this video. It was educational and could easily possibly a life saver!

I might go over to the smaller brush.
Lighting like the taller trees here and ticks like pine as well. 😉
