When you're out in the wild and you know you are going to be there for a while, a shelter becomes paramount. If you don’t see an abandoned log cabin like the people in movies always seem to come across then you need to get pro-active and come up with a solution.
Honestly, you do not need anything big. As a matter of fact, big is detrimental because your shelter needs to be small enough to hold in body heat. But it also needs to be comfortable enough so you can sleep and feel protected.
In today's video, you'll see a survivalist who has scouted the area, observed what she needs, and shows you in no-nonsense terms what it takes to build a shelter for yourself and, quite possibly, members of your family, whether they be animal or human!
Continue on to page 2 for a step-by-step tutorial of how to build an epic survival shelter!
