
Zip ties. You know what they are; an often-times plastic or nylon fastener that is primarily used for grouping cables together. However, they can be used for much more.
If you are a prepper or homesteader there are dozens of uses, including sealing up bags of compost or mulch, or even tying down tarps over structures like air conditioners or shed roofs when the cooler months arrive.
Sadly, there are other uses not so helpful or wholesome. The video on the following page is interesting. Our demonstrator actually shows a person how he or she can escape from a zip tie should they, for some reason, find your hands tied together.

I usually just say the “Safe Word” !
Now how do you do it if they are behind your back? Only an idgit would secure the hands in front!
You get a piece of wire or paper clip or even a piece of fingernail and insert it into the locking tab on the zip tie and you can loosen them.
Works the same with duct tape.
If they are military grade, good luck.
Maybe with dollar store zip ties.
Can you tighten those? that didn’t work. So amateur
