[VIDEO] Simple Bushcraft Rotisserie Chicken In Nature

A good, tender piece of chicken is always tasty but more-so when it is cooked over an open fire in the wilderness. There is no reasoning behind such a thing, other than the exercise and fresh air of the backwoods brings on a great appetite, making anything you eat all the better.

But this bushcraft chicken sincerely lives up to expectations!

In this case, we have a well prepared couple with a “green stick” to pierce the bird all the way through. This allows dinner to rotate like a rotisserie over a healthy fire. The whole chicken is tied to the stick with what looks like butchers twine for easy revolving.

Oh, and just in case you are curious, it appears the couple bought the “tomato and herb chicken” at a local grocery store rather than killing it themselves in the wild. That is quite a time saver!
