An excellent tool to have for survival is a simple slingshot. They've been used for thousands of years as a legitimate hunting weapon, as well as a weapon of war (heard of David and Goliath?).
In modern times, slingshots have evolved into simple weapons that utilize two prongs for holding an elastic tubing. Line up your target between the two prongs, pull back on the sling and release the stone or marble. It's that simple.
Slingshots are a great tool for hunting smaller animals like birds and squirrels, but what if you've set your sights on the larger game? At times like this, it's great that a simple modification to your slingshot can mean you can launch full-size arrows at targets like rabbits and deer.
To learn this ridiculously simple method, check out the video on the next page.

Make it or buy it?
swiped the slingshot from my son and added o-ring with ponytail holders. when i first put it together I just used a key ring, but that wreaked havoc on the arrows.
Great ideas. Thanks.
