One of the most important things we can do for ourselves when it comes time to bugout is to find shelter. This should be your first priority, even before finding food.

If you do not already have housing built and stocked with provisions, if you plan on living off the land – or if you just want to try something cool during a camping trip – why not build your own shelter?

The one Survivor Lilly shows us on the next page, at best, is a temporary shelter to keep us warm and out of the rain. The good news is with the simple tarp she makes a simple but cozy lodging!
