The idea of having the ideal bug out bag is important, but so is making sure you have access to it when you need it the most. That way when Doomsday arrives you won't have to rummage through your supplies and pull out what you need last minute.

You also won't have time to look through your belongings to locate your survival bag. Make sure you know where it's located and what's in it so you can grab it and be on your way.

Your kit should likely be somewhere such as a shelter, car, or tucked away somewhere safe in your home. But do you have a bag that you can place in your pocket for emergencies?

A small kit that's accessible on your body is a great idea and believe it or not, but it can include small tools, cooking items, and even a fire starting kit. Talk about smart!

After the break, watch a video that'll show you how to make a pocket sized survival container with a soda cap. Waterproof and durable, you'll wonder what took you so long to make this little kit before now!

Um as a container it might be good, but all those tiny items would not be for me. Too much could go wrong. A few handy things in an EDC is my preferred way to go.

Kinda neat for something you shove in your pocket…If I had NOTHING, I’d be glad I had at least these items….Fishing kit alone is a biggie

It’s a great project for kids. My son made me a couple that I use for salt and pepper shakers for work

I have made these before and they are great. The one thing you want to do is fill them with water to make sure they don’t leak. You can put fishing line on the them for extra cordage.
