Some people who live in the wild and are bugging out work hard to get their meals. It may be challenging, but the good news is there are always new tips to try to make it a quicker experience!

Consider fishing for a moment. A zealous man or woman will go out in a boat with their fishnet and rod and likely bring home a tasty meal.

However, unless they enjoy the outing they may come back with a sunburn and no such luck at catching enough fish to feed their family. They also could be using that energy on hunting for another animal depending on how much time it takes them!

After the break, there's a video that's set in Cambodia. Watch how a young girl shows us how to make and take advantage of a deep-hole fishing track.

This method of catching fish takes some patience but is definitely worth the effort. In fact, the idea behind this fishing hole is incredible!

Let’s hope that sh*t doesn’t catch on! Digging out the bank to catch (mostly) minnows that don’t even cover the bottom of a 5 Gallon bucket. Get 1000 folks doing that along that river/ocean/whatever it is and a year later it’s “oh noooo, where did the land and our homes go, they all washed away because we had to have that 2 pounds of fish the ‘easy way’.

How does it work? Does the tide come and go or do the fish jump into the hole?

snake head catfish and few more species of fish in that region have a habit to crawling around, this trap basically make use of that.
make the inner wall of the hole steep and smooth prevent fish to crawling back out.
those tree branch to prevent them from jumping.
it’s only work that will because they got a lot of fish in that water.

How exactly are the fish getting into the hole; jumping the dam?

Keep in mind, this is in Cambodia. Things are not the same there as they are here. Those traps catch a lot of eels, and small fish are much more prevalent. Don’t think that making one of these traps here in the US would be a good idea. In fact I’m not sure why everyone keeps sharing these videos (this is like the 3rd one that I’ve seen in the various groups I’m in, and I’ve seen the other 2 multiple times).
