If building your bug out shelter from the ground up, there are a lot of things to consider. Before you start on a major project like this one, you may ask yourself a variety of question such as: How big should it be? Will it have dirt floors or wood floors? Will it include windows? How will you keep it discreet, but still extremely functional?
These are all important questions to ask, and you may consider writing your questions down. You not only need to envision a structure that you want but the way to go about designing and building it. Consider not only the size but the necessary features that you want to include to keep you safe.
