So, your power has gone out, you’ve been listening to your hand-crank radio, and you’ve discovered the world is in economic peril. You can do a few things but to two most important are probably deciding to live or die. We suggest you live and here are so great bartering items to keep you and yours thriving in a world gone mad!
Some things people just cannot do without. We always thought it’d be nice to have a cow and chickens in the midst of all the chaos. Milk and eggs for anyone who is willing to pay the price in food and other survival supplies, right?
All of these are smart items. The idea of alcohol may seem a little too self-indulgent to some but remember, it can be used for disinfecting wounds! Then the ammo, spices, and seeds are only natural! A great list and we bet you can think of more!

What about hand tools ? Not going to get far without a knife , chisel , hammer. Nails etc
Great idea! Maybe you should have kept the water in those bottles and put the .22’s in a sock! Just sayin’…
Barter will be the only way. If money is no good how else will we do business.
Everything will have value especially tools.
I use air rifle
I do it every now and then
Learn to reload ammo 🙂
22 LG are good to have.
They swear like its gonna collapse just retaken over by a new generation who will remake all the rules as usual
I wanna see you take a deer down with an air rifle…Hmmm, I don’t think so!
David Emmons.. You are behind the times… Air rifles can take dear, bear,Buffalo, hogs, and anything else you chose…$#%&!@*even Lewis and Clark hunted dear with an air rifle 200 years ago… Where ya been ???????
Haha
Do bottlecaps count?
I’ve got a bunch of Nuka-Cola caps
Coffee, tobacco, and ammo will go far I believe.
Hey, it works on Fallout!
I keep my .22 in used kool aid containers. Great for the range you just fill the lid up as needed

Or just paint a big target on your back.
Smart
I just need two. In case I miss with the first one.
Knowledge
No problem!
Never trade ammo. Too easy to be used against you.
I have a better chance wiping a grizzlies$#%&!@*with a Brillo pad than finding .22 ammo right now.
Sad but true – you better be useful
If you’ve got power-armor, we can do business. Maybe throw in some power cores and I might have some Star-Caps layin around
If you can find them to store them up
With the rifle and ammo, I can just take what I need.
Using ammo for trade is a bad idea it will only get you killed. With ammo and a rifle you can Sakura almost anything you need including taking it from other people when it’s one for all survival of the fittest trust no one

Did you know, that most all us made ammo has a shelf life now?,I took out some long , properly stored 22 ammo to shoot, 1 in 3 failed, buy non us made ammo
So is that how you see society now? What sort of magical switch do you think that’s going to change people from traders to bloodthirsty psychopaths? With an attitude outlook like that, you likely won’t survive should a disaster happen.
How did you store it?
In the passing time yes not everyone will be friendly and offer everything you need or ask for yes there will be people that will be more than willing to help but this is the reality we all may face
Fred Cadet run this through this mind of yours in a minimum of 10 days there will be no food no water on any shelf anywhere whatsoever in 20 days a normal household will have consumed all food inside of their pantries and 30 days people will be scrounging for every little grain of rice they can find
