(Video) Must-Have Bartering Items to Have After the Fall

SHTF currency bullets

After the SHTF things are going to be up in the air for a while. Money will still be taken for a while but eventually, those papers and coins will be worthless. When you are having an economic collapse, when a hundred dollar bill may buy you a loaf a bread, you know you will have to think of something else!

Some preppers have thought of gold and jewels and, again, for a while that may work but when you are heading into year three of an apocalyptic melt down no one is really going to care about that stuff as well.

What you really need is basics, things people will need in the here and now, things that will grow and disinfect, and make people feel good! Think of a bushel of carrots for a couple bottles of gin! Or a battery charger for a set of windshield wipers. That sort of thing.

Go over to the next page and check out the must-have bartering items you will need when the SHTF!

I keep my .22 in used kool aid containers. Great for the range you just fill the lid up as needed

I have a better chance wiping a grizzlies$#%&!@*with a Brillo pad than finding .22 ammo right now.

If you’ve got power-armor, we can do business. Maybe throw in some power cores and I might have some Star-Caps layin around

Using ammo for trade is a bad idea it will only get you killed. With ammo and a rifle you can Sakura almost anything you need including taking it from other people when it’s one for all survival of the fittest trust no one

Did you know, that most all us made ammo has a shelf life now?,I took out some long , properly stored 22 ammo to shoot, 1 in 3 failed, buy non us made ammo

So is that how you see society now? What sort of magical switch do you think that’s going to change people from traders to bloodthirsty psychopaths? With an attitude outlook like that, you likely won’t survive should a disaster happen.

In the passing time yes not everyone will be friendly and offer everything you need or ask for yes there will be people that will be more than willing to help but this is the reality we all may face

Fred Cadet run this through this mind of yours in a minimum of 10 days there will be no food no water on any shelf anywhere whatsoever in 20 days a normal household will have consumed all food inside of their pantries and 30 days people will be scrounging for every little grain of rice they can find
