If you are like me, the only chore worse than stacking wood for the winter (it's fun the first four cords. Sort of.) is weeding and watering the garden.
I have a large garden, so staying on top of both can feel like a chore and although we have a well, and therefore don't need to worry about water bills, I am always mindful of how wasteful using a sprinkler system on the entire plot is and how much it makes my pump work.
Even when I am on top of the weeding, it still takes a solid Saturday morning working my way through the entire plot and it takes about an hour and a half to give it a good soak.
On the next page, there is a video that shows you how to greatly reduce the weeding and watering using these amazing self-watering buckets and how to do it for under $7.

Miracle Gro? Awful chemical salts. Go with compost instead.
