If you use heavy enough pipe, you can use a War Hammer to hunt small game and even as a pry bar.

It is one of those tools that in a survival situation, you will be amazed how many times you find that it comes in handy.

I have had one of these for years and I am often surprised at how often I use it – in non survival situations.

I use mine to break up ice build up on the sidewalk in the Winter, as a finer point sledge to pound in bean-pole posts and even as “snake stick” to safely move garter snakes off the woodpile without hurting them when I am moving wood inside for the winter.
