Your Ax in a survival situation is one tool that you will use a lot and for more than just chopping firewood or kindling (although those are pretty important.)

Keeping it protected when you are not using it, however, is critical to making sure it can perform as expected when you need it to do so.

This incredibly sturdy Ax sheath will protect your Ax as well as yourself when you are not using it, which, in a survival situation is critical.

One improvement I thought of to this design that would make sense is figuring out a way to attach it to your belt, which would free up your hands.
