When SHTF, whether it be a societal collapse or you're just hopelessly lost in the woods, one thing you will always want on hand is a weapon.

In today's world, that weapon is often a firearm of some sort. However, there are a lot of instances where a firearm is not going to be the best option, particularly when you are hunting and don't want to give away your location.

It could also not be an option for you if you don't have one on hand when SHTF. If this is the case, your next best option will almost always be some form of bow and arrow. If you already have a bow and a ton of arrows on hand, great! If not, you'd better get to work making them.
