(VIDEO) Make a Tasty Bushcraft Meal and Roast a Fish on a Stone…

hot rock fish

You've laid out several fishing trap baskets, some spring-loaded tip-up lines, and have been sitting on the side of the river all day. Finally, paydirt! You've caught a fish, and now you're ready for dinner! But how to cook it?

There are an infinite number of tips on how to catch game, find edible plants and bag fish, but there often isn't much to go on as to how you're supposed to cook your meal.

Of course, you could always just slap the fish on a stick and hang it over the fire, but then you run the risk of dropping it in the flames. What is a survivor to do?

Check out the great trick on the next page to bake any meal on hot stones.
