Without the help of a match or lighter, how many of you think you can start a fire within a couple seconds? Today we're going to show you how to accomplish this badass effect.
When we first heard about this super fast acting fire starting method, we racked our brains trying to figure out how it would be possible (before seeing the answer of course). Rubbing sticks together to create a spark can take a considerable amount of time depending on the stick, if there's any wind and whether or not the sticks are bone dry or partially damp.
Needless to say we gave up hypothesizing over what this method could be and went straight to the video. This guy is a GENIUS!

Several years ago , the wife and I went boating, fishing and camping on our favorite lake, after fishing for awhile, we went to one of the small beaches to have lunch. I broke out the mini bar-b-que, and after surching for the lighter and or some matches, I got the brain storm idea. The wife could not figure what I was doing. I disconnected the boat battery , and being a mechanic that carried tools and what nots on the boat, I got a long piece of wire . With these items in hand , I went on the beach, set the battery next to the bar-b-que, took the wire, cut it in half, attached to battery and started tapping the wire ends together to make sparks , after a few seconds , I had a fire going, and the wife shaking her head and saying , only you Jesse.. Don’t panic, and think of what you have at hand, and how it can save your life. But,, I will also now be adding some extra batteries to the tool chest. Thanks for the idea.
