Needing a light source in nature is critical. And this primitive bushcraft candle doesn't disappoint. Today, we've got Survival Lilly showing us how to make this awesome candle using things she may not particularly comfortable with.

Lilly likes the idea of including bees wax in her project but admits the only way to get the substance would be tearing apart a beehive. And, of course, when you do that you not only disrupt bees but shortens their lives.

All things considered, with bees of the verge of annihilation, that’s probably not the best idea, especially when there are other things in the world that will work other than beeswax.
