This is one of those ideas that sincerely has you rubbing you chin and uttering, “Why didn’t I think of that?” It makes all the sense in the world!

Admittedly, we would probably be in the percentile of those people who could not keep the eggs from breaking in their backpack before we tried this trick but – WOW! – for those of you who can, breakfast is served!

We also like the idea John had, for those of us who like crispier bacon, in using the skewering stick to heat the strips individually over the coals.
