(Video) Instructions on How to Construct an Explosive Tripwire Alarm

flashbang tripwire

You've worked really hard to prepare for SHTF by taking care of your land and amassing food and stores with careful planning and precision.

However, when S*** really does hit the fan, all of your hard work will be at risk. Sure, that is the time when you've been prepping for, but it will also become a time when people will attempt to seize everything you've gained through hard work and perseverance.

Luckily an easy way to solve this problem is just to arm up, right? Well, that's a good idea, but it's impossible to keep a constant watch on every inch of the border 24/7.

Eventually you will get tired and will need to get some sleep. Even if you were to trade shifts with another person in your party it's still in your best interest to have another way to monitor the perimeter.

That's where a tripwire comes into place. Just to be sure you hear it going off, consider making an explosive tripwire. Learn how to by watching the instructive video after the break.

I fail to see how installing unmonitored incendiary devices around your property is going to increase your families safety. They are far more likely to die in a fire than from an attacker.

High powered sensor lights would be better. Think of all the animals that walk along your property during the day and late at night. God forbid a child playing or walking.

Also might want to think of the noise it will make, bringing many to you.

Kyle Root I’m not sure what you’re trying to say? You’ll need to add stuff for what? To make it an incendiary device? It’s made with matches… Matches start fires…

I first learned this at my Onpoint tactical tracking class around 10 years ago. The tripwire aspect anyway. Was great the. And great now

I’m pretty sure that, at least in most states, this is illegal.

Make sure you do this in the dead of summer when your weeds and grass are most dry around your property.

Jeebus cripes. If you can’t figure out how to make it a non-issue you aren’t going to make it very long when SHTF. Fuggedaboutit

Blake Foley the way it’s portrayed it is an issue, and the creator of the video basically even gave the warning that it may cause fires. This kind of thing might be useful in a limited number of circumstances, but is generally just dumb. If you can’t figure that out, you’ll never live through live long enough to see the SHTF.

I can’t believe the idiotic comments about this. You guys are on a survivalist page, not an OSHA site . If you can’t understand this is for certain situations , not for use by your house on a regular basis, then you have some other issues you need to figure out before you try to figure out how to “waterproof” this device, or how to install such a device so that it won’t cause a forest fire.

Greg Korpela what he’s trying to say is that if you can’t manage the fire hazard that this poses, then you have no business trying to manage the SHTF.

Fred Cadet, do you think this would help manage the fire issue?

Know how to see danger before it gets to you with this device that you make in a few minutes. Anywhere !

That’s funny, reminds me of the powdered water routine by comedian Stephen Wright performed years ago.
