The best way to prepare is to learn as many possible tricks to get you through your situation, no matter how much you might have prepared in anticipation.

Let’s say you’re stuck in the woods without anything except the following: an aluminum can, and a bar of chocolate. In the woods, you should also have access to sticks, dry leaves, or anything else you can use as tinder for the flame. You will be able to start a fire if you know what you’re doing.
