
Unlocking a lock is not that big a deal. As long as you have a key and/or a combination you can gain access to whatever building, vault, or gate you need open. That is, until you find yourself faced with a lock that appears to have no key or combination!
That is not good. Dah. What do you do?
Hammering at the thing, denting doors, wood, and whatever else is in the way? How about looking for a bolt cutter? Yeah, if you have one handy that is great!
However what you usually find in a work-space or garage are wrenches. And if you have more than one, and what self-respecting DYIer doesn’t? You can open those locks in two seconds!

I have tool chests out the wazoo what the hell is a nut wrench? Lmmfao not sure where to look for one i will take this post to the auto shop and ask which isle there on lmao!
Unless wrenches are from Harbour Freight and lock was about 20 bucks.

Physical security is almost always the weak point. Know of guys breaking into multi million dollar companies with common items like air dusters and coat hangers. Where there is a will there is a weakness waiting to be exploited.
I just don’t think that will work with high quality, all steel, padlocks.
You use a crescent or pipe wrench put on and twist hardly any effort..
At camp there was a huge problem with with people using pillow cases to break locks. Had to check out at least 3 cases a day of this happening. Turned out to be like 4 different kids. Caught them because the only boots not keyed up were theres
they are all smaller locks — has anyone ever tried it on larger, stronger ones?
