You still should purify water before you drink it, but filtering out dirt, leaves and other debris is pretty important.
By using a cloth and two containers, you can set up your own filtering system using the absorbing power of the cloth and gravity.
Remember, this filter system is not a way to purify water.
You still should put the water through the normal purification process you would use; this is just a way to separate your water from debris, using a cloth and gravity.
