Being able to make your own arrows in a survival or doomsday situation is an essential skill you must have.

You may never need it, but if you do, being able to do so gives you the ability to protect yourself as well as hunt game for food. It's also pretty badass, too.

Hopefully, making inexpensive but very effective arrows from common household items remains a hobby, but you never know.
