Ginger is the sort of the plant that keeps on giving!

It loves warmth – is terrific for Summer months – and it’s beautiful to look at. When it is warm, you have one great looking colorful plant that thrives. However, when the weather starts to cool down it is advisable to keep your ginger inside.

In other words, you will want to plant your ginger in a pot and move it around a bit. That may sound a little coddling but it’s worth it and, really, a ginger plant can get along well with a little but not a lot of watering.
