(VIDEO) He Takes Out a Axe. How He Uses it to Begin Making a Kuksa? Incredible!

making a kuksa

A kuksa is a type of wooden drinking cup that is hand crafted, originating from the Sami people of northern Scandiavia. They have been used for hundreds of years, and can last indefinitely if they are well cared for.

They come in a variety of sizes, but are generally smaller for individuals use. Some kuksas are large enough to use as bowls. When it comes to the material, they are often made from birch.

Wood from oak trees has an open grain, which makes it difficult to clean after being exposed to food and liquid.

The kuksa is lightweight, and can be carried on your belt on any venture out into the wilderness. “Real” kuksas are not mass-produced; they are hand-carved and made by the user, or given out to a loved one as a gift.

Nope. Regardless of embellishing his resume he is still extremely knowledgeable and respected for his skills. Plus he has publicly apologized for embellishing his resume.
