(Video) He Takes Out a 9-Volt Battery. What He Does With It? I Still Can’t Believe This Clever Survival Hack!

9 Volt battery

Most survivalists have heard of the survival hack with the 9-volt battery and steel wool that are used to start a fire. This clever fire starter is such a staple that many preppers and campers alike keep a 9-volt and steel wool in their survival pack because they know they'll need it.

But did you know that a 9-volt battery can also be used for other projects besides starting a fire? In fact, with a little bit of MacGyvering, you can utilize this battery to power up electronics as well.

For this project, you'll need aluminum foil, wire cutters, and, of course, a 9-volt battery. You'll be amazed at how you can harness the power of a 9-volt to power up any device for bugging out and more.

After the break check out this clever trick. Trust me; you'll want to try this out for yourself!

Not pertaining to this but you know if you need another size battery and one don’t fit you can make up difference with foil. The batteries are 1.5v just diff sizes.Like example you need 2 aa batteries but have 2 aaa batteries for flashlight you take foil and make ip difference to make connection on the end. May help some in a situation so I mentioned this. I personally have not done this but heard of it.

If you gotta bug out, grab all batteries. Got a radio? I built a cb antenna for $6 that can talk 20 miles local and to Ontario from Alabama with low wattage. Transportable, it’s wire.

Kevin not every 9v battery is filled with those little cells, that is one of the reasons I commented.

Didn’t click on it, I know what he doing. Just carry some steel wool and use your cell phone battery to start a fire. Doesn’t damage it either.

Why not just have a supply of the right size batteries, matches, lighters and whatever else you may think you may need. Just be prepared for the unexpected !

Lime juice and the knowledge of copper should be taught. Or regurgitation and copper. Smells bad but same effect. Fire and clay!
