Many survivalists have heard of the hack with the 9-volt battery and steel wool that are used to start a fire. This clever fire starter is such a staple that many people keep a 9-volt and steel wool in their survival pack because they know it's something they'll likely need.
However, did you also know that a 9-volt battery can be used for various projects besides starting a fire? In particular, with some MacGyvering, you can utilize a battery to get electronics running as well.
For this project, a person will need aluminum foil, wire cutters, and of course, don't forget about a 9-volt battery. You'll be amazed at how easy it is to harness power from a 9-volt to power up a device while bugging out.
On the next page check see how this clever trick works on the video. You may want to try this out to see for yourself!
