(VIDEO) He Spent a Night in the Woods With Limited Gear. How He Fared? I Didn’t Expect This!

Wilderness Shelter

It’s a standard in Hollywood vernacular, but location really does mean everything. This is particularly the case for this wilderness camper who has decided to spend the night in the forest — with limited supplies.

Smartly, he did decide to bring a knife and dog. We cannot stress the importance of having a good blade and a friend out in the forest!

He shows us how to build a safe shelter in the right place, keeping him comfortable and reasonably free from the cold, pulling together a warm fire, and preparing and cooking his food!

By the way, he also gives us some good tips on the kind of stones you will want surrounding your fire. Don’t forget that some rocks contain flint, and that combination of flint and fire can be dangerous!

After the break, watch this survivalist's progress during the day and night on the video. Will he make it through until morning or will nature have its ways with him?

Dudes knife would be of Diamond to take that kind of abuse. Still informative though.

Pretty good video. Ida skewered the steak but we all have different methods with the same outcome usually.

I spent 3weeks walking through the Sahara. No gun, no knife and no light! After the first few hours my head lamp went out. Batteries were taken at American Airport. Rights of Passage walk! Nairobi to Mombasa Kenya!

The most important thing you will bring out of the woods, is the list of the stuff you forgot….

My heart bleeds for him. That shelter is like a house, he should be sleeping on the ground with nothing to cover up with. May it real!!!
