unclogging-the-toilet

At one time or another, we have all had problems with our toilet bowl. No, it is not something altogether thrilling to think about, but it happens.

Any number of things can clog a toilet bowl. There's nothing worse than standing there, a plunger in hand, trying desperately to figure out what to do when all you've tried seems to be failing.

Then, you have to march into the local grocery or hardware store and stare at all of the toilet bowl problem solvers, whether they are liquid, crystals or suction powered. And feel the eyes on you. That’s right; people are looking at you and wondering what your problem is?

Yes, we should ignore them, and we often do – but it’s still there. The memory of those inquiring eyes… LOL!

However, what if there was a simple solution to the problem that would not require a humiliating trip to the store and involves something you already have under your sink?

Go to the next page and watch as this handyman shows us an easy way to clean out our toilet bowl clog with dish soap. We tried it, and it works!

He squeezed out a floater that just wouldn’t flush, so he put soap in there to up the density of the water and made the$#%&!@*sink to the bottom and actually flush.

If it’s just paper clogging the toilet, wait for till the paper dissolves some, and water and watch it flush. Save your dish soap.

For those using a septic tank, don’t use soap. The soap will kill the bacteria that you need in there to have a properly working septic system.

Ummm no otherwise the water from your sink which also goes into your septic tank would cause the same effect

  8. John Fletcher said:

It does and that’s the reason why the tanks have to be pumped more often.

It would be nice if they just told us what it’s about instead of making us click a link I mean if we knew what it did we would be more likely to click the link

If you’re on a septic system, soap kills the bacteria that’s needed to take care of the solids.
