We may never completely understand why it was built. Perhaps the city really was once a busy metropolis lost over time. But we do know it is truly fascinating. We would love to go over it and spend a day or two exploring!

Right now they have found eleven floors and estimated eighteen more floors they have yet to reach? What an undertaking this must have been! Miles and miles of tunnels that are capable of sustaining tens of thousands of people!

We would love to find written material on this city, perhaps even an old architect’s drawing, just to let us know what their expectations were! Meanwhile, we explore and ponder. What a great historical find!
