We know what some of you are thinking. Why not just buy a lot of rope or cordage and be done with it? This way you do not have to go through the pains of making your own.

That is okay for the here and now but later on, when a chaos situation erupts, when you’ve gone months and/or years – and your cordage has disappeared – you will want to know how to make your own from the natural resources around you.

Make enough and you may be able to use it as an exchange item post-collapse!
