When we think of storage for the long term there are certain items we do not think too deeply about because, for now, there is plenty to go around.
But if you decide to become self-sufficient or live way out where you can’t get to the grocery store maybe twice a month, you will want to make sure your items stay safe and unspoiled.
Then, looking into the future, what if a SHTF scenario suddenly happens? That “We can just go out and buy a new one” attitude will go away big time! This is why we really recommend storing simple supplies like spices and salt in containers that will keep them for a long time to come!

Yeah, that will be a lot more important for survivalists than say, Building a Shelter, Starting a Fire, Finding clean water, Identifying Edible Plants, Navigating, Sending Signals, or anything else that might keep you alive.
IMO anything about Fishings is great who agrees?
This helps me survive in the wilderness how exactly?
Is that a womans thumb or a childs big toe?
Why is this invaluable? What’s wrong with the original container?
Why? ..this makes no sense …useless tip , just leave the salt in its container..
