Anyone who has a bad back but still loves the great outdoors – and camps – knows the agony of lying flat on the ground to sleep. It really doesn’t matter how thick your sleeping bag is. You always awaken in the morning feeling like a herd of angry rhinos trampled over you during the night.

One way to elevate that is sleeping in a hammock! You do not even have to be plagued with back problems to enjoy a good night sleep, floating peacefully above the ground.

There are some issues, easily resolved, with camping out in a hammock; mostly having to do with insulation, hammock straps and under quilts.
