Protection is not just something to think about when the grid goes down, but it encompasses everyday life! You want to be able to keep your family safe from bodily harm. However, not everyone is comfortable with a gun, knife or even using physical force.
Tasers were introduced as non-lethal weapons for police to use to subdue fleeing, aggressive, or possibly dangerous people, without having to use the more dangerous stun gun.
It’s a terrific alternate weapon, easy enough for a woman to hold and use and powerful enough to bring down a large man if the occasion should call for it.
Certainly, you can purchase one under the right circumstances, but true self-sufficiency is making your own.
