(VIDEO) Firearms You Should Add to Your Arsenal NOW, Before it’s too Late…

One of the largest fears for preppers when SHTF is large bands of roving bandits that will essentially act as the Vikings once did, breaking into homes and pillaging and killing.

While this may not be a precisely accurate portrayal of how things will go down in the uncertain future, history can tell us that will the collapse of a government or economic system, people generally do things they would never typically do.

Because people are so unpredictable, it's in everyone's best interest to prepare for that world as thoroughly as possible, which means we should be stocking up on a variety of firearms for a variety of situations.

Check out the video on the next page for an exact list of the firearms every prepper should get their hands on.

When carrying abunch of firearms and donning tactical gear don’t you think you stand out as a combatant making you a target ?

  2. Chris Gonzalez said:

It just seems like people would target you for your weapons and ammo or if the SHTF scenario is s military occupation then you would stand out as a guerrilla or militia and would be killed FAST. There are way more scenarios than zombie apocalypse.

Chris Gonzalez, that’s talked about a lot, and you’re right. You wouldn’t want to be decked out in Multicam, or Hunting gear. You want things to blend in as best as possible. Not saying that you don’t have an advantage with some military gear, you’ll just stand out.

Im just saying , you stand more of a chance being a refugee than a combatant. Learn to live off the land and to hide real damn good. Teach tour wives and kids. Learn to not even need a gun.

Pack light, use your gear regularly so it doesnt look new. Carry concealed and dress like a hobo

3 types of guns you need in a$#%&!@*hit the fan situation. A high caliber semi auto rifle, a shotgun, and a handgun. A high caliber semi auto rifle will give you the ability for self defense not just up close but at long distance along with the ability to effectively fight your way out of a bad situation along with the ability to hunt and if need be defend yourself not in the field but in base (from a window in your house), a handgun is self defense period because you cant beat having a gun which you can hide, easily maneuver and gives you stoping power at close range and if you are hunting and a bear charges you well you’re covered on that but I do recommend higher caliber, lastly a shotgun in theory isnt something you need because the rifle and handgun cover everything listed but it is nice to have because of extremely high power up close and personal and gives the ability to breach doors more effectively when you need to loot for supplies (god forbid it comes down to that) and it increases your hunting ability with the different types of shot you can put in it you can more effectively hunt. With those three types of guns you should be able to handle just about anything that comes your way and another note, never get fully auto, in a$#%&!@*hits the fan ammo is scarce and can run out fast, now I know you will go well its nice to have it if I need it but truth is that 9 times out of 10 you dont need it and think you would and if you use it you just waste bullets and the one out of ten times you do well you aren’t the military, observe the situation and you should be able to realize oh hey I might get into a pretty big gun battle.

I agree with your 3. I would only add a dependable .22 rifle for small game.

  8. John Brinkman said:

That is very true but then again then used to hunt all game with a .50 cal smoothbore rifle/musket with black powder. Btw it wasn’t always that accurate but it seems to come down to lucky and shot placement.

Or a nice bow and arrow. I live in the suburbs where shooting guns in the neighborhood is frowned on and when those pesky critters get in my garden well, nobody seems to pay much mind to the bearded crazy mountain man looking thing running around with a boy and arrows.

You don’t really need a AK a mosin will do…smh. Sorry but this guy is a moron.

  11. Steve Benckert said:

I never jumped on the Mosin wagon but I understand their lore. Cheap rifles, cheap ammo. Recoil can be a bit harsh for those not used to it, and/or smaller novice shooters.

  12. Lucas Nelson said:

Oh great guns I have nothing against them I had one but if you had to pick between a mosin or a AK. He said ” you don’t really need a AK or AR,maybe a mosin” I was like wtf?! I was expecting him to say mini 14 or something along those lines

  13. Nathaniel Condo said:

“With a boy and arrows”? Lol

What about an M1 Carbine for small game in lieu of a .22?

  14. Taylor Sinnard said:

People scream firearms in a SHTF scenario. I say, what good is a firearm if you can’t open hike 50miles a day? Due to people of poor health,if I am savvy ,I will end up with plenty of firearms.

  15. Chris Gonzalez said:

I’m pretty sure I can survive just fine with a .22 rifle to hunt small game with.

  16. Chris Gonzalez said:

Agreed ! It’s going to come down to your survival skills ! I pretty sure I can survive just fine with only a .22 to hunt small game.

More than likely when shtf its going to be wise to get out of a major city so yea I agree , you would need to get out there and be able to move your$#%&!@* If you are a single guy with no family and no one gives a$#%&!@*about you and no one is dependent on you then yea , go fight. Get your guns and ammo and fight hard. But me , I gotta get my family tf outta here fast. Every one should get out there and hike and get to know the surrounding terrain
