I’d be more leery of the Brown Recluse but the tin of black drawing salve I keep in my bag helps me sleep more soundly.

They aren’t that bad. I slept in a basement for a few years, and would wake up every morning worth them under my blankets by my feet. They never bit me. I think they just wanted to be warm. Or liked my stinky feet. Lol

Folks I’m a pest control technician or as my customers call me bug man. There’s like 75 different kinds of wolf spiders in the U.S
The yellow sac is the only one thats poisonous and that’s the one pictures here and unless you live along the some places on the west coast you have no need to fear them but please keep in mind if your highly allergic to wasp or any other kind of insect be sure and protect yourselves from even garden varieties of spiders you just don’t know how your body will react to it be safe folks and God Bless

In rural VA they are everywhere. They get in my house more than any other pests. My wife freaks out over spiders but I’ve never been bitten by one or know anyone who has. Now a black widow is another story. They hide in dark places. I’ve found most under trash barrels, gas cans and well tops. Found 2 inside a pair of shoes.
