(Video) Easy Ways to Insulate and Tent and Stay Warm When it’s Freezing Out There

insulating your tent

One of the most uncomfortable things to experience is waking up in the middle of the night during a camping trip — like around 3 am in the morning — and realize that you are freezing.

Being super cold is something that anyone who camps will experience at one time or another, and this is likely because they were ill-prepared or because the weather changed from what it was supposed to be.

At this point, there is little a person can do to raise their body temperature, apart from donning an extra pair of socks, a wool cap, and using a few hand warmers. Usually, a person has no choice but to shiver in their sleeping bag and pray for the morning when the sun comes out to arrive.

However, with the right preparation to insulate a tent from the cold weather a person can stay warm and dry throughout the night. Learn about some of these crucial tips on the video after the break.
