[VIDEO] Dull Knife? Get It SHARP With This Technique

Over the course of a day in a survival situation, you will use your knife at least once and usually multiple times throughout the day.

While that means knives are indispensable, it also means they will dull and the more you use them, the quicker they will dull.

A dull knife not only makes your cutting work harder, it also is dangerous; a dull knife can slip and if you are not careful, injure you or someone around you. A sever cut in a survival situation can lead to infection as well as hamper you doing what you need to do.

You may not, however, in a survival situation, have access to your normal method of sharpening your knife.

The good news, as the guy in the video on the next page illustrates, is that there are many ways of sharpening a knife, including using a cinder-block, brick and leather belt to sharpen your knife.
