Your knife or knives are critical to helping you make it through a survival situation or SHTF moment. Luckily, you can make a knife from just about everything.

Early man, for example, made knives out of stones originally and as they progressed, learned about metal and then alloy, made knives from raw materials.

Any corrections officer can tell you multiple ways inmates in prison can take seemingly innocuous items and fashion them into knives; most will have dozens of examples that will shock you.

Today, you have ample materials all around you to fashion knives with a minimal amount of equipment. Understanding what to do though is as important as having access to the materials you need.
