(VIDEO) DIY: How to Achieve Heat Forever Without Electricity

If you live in a colder environment, keeping yourself warm in the late fall, winter or early spring can be a tremendous challenge.

If the climate you live in is bitterly cold in the winter, not keeping warm can be deadly.

Faced with a SHTF moment or survival situation, particularly if power was disrupted, keeping warm is of paramount importance, but your furnace will not fire, what can you do?

One option is to have an auxiliary heat source – a fireplace or wood stove – but even then, you still have to have fuel to keep a fire going.

If you live in an urban setting, finding fuel can be challenging and if you do not have it stored when the survival moment arrives, finding fuel might be impossible.

Fuel, however, happens to be easy to make.

All you need is junk mail (or any paper) and water.

I would have pressed it…. It will push more water out of it, it will be harder, so it will technically burn longer… I’m gonna try it.
