
Flour
In some areas in the world flour is becoming more expensive, and you never know when prices may sky rocket, making it difficult to stockpile a lot of it. While it's inexpensive now it's a good idea to store a lot of it. You're going to need it to make bread, pasta, and more after a disaster happens and flour is harder to come by!
Milk
Milk gives our body nutrition and is especially important for children to have on a daily basis to help their bones develop correctly. Sure you can keep a cow or goat on hand, but it's also wise to read up how to stockpile milk for later.
You may also want to think of alternative ways to get milk, such as through soy or almonds. You can still get calcium both of these ways and it may be easier to stockpile the ingredients for milk this way instead, depending on where you live. For example, if you're in the city having a cow for later won't be possible.
