It is unlikely any method, short of not having a fire in a teepee will completely eliminate smoke from any campfire you have inside.

Teepees are one type of shelter that is sturdy if constructed properly, roomy, intimate and portable – if you are looking for a longer-term shelter, they are hard to beat.

Smoke from a fire in your teepee, however, can ruin the experience and pose a health risk; one way of reducing that smoke is to build a draft tunnel under your fire.
