(Video) Dealing With a Lot of Wind While Bugging Out? Here’s How to Utilize and Build Walls as a Windbreak.

lilly-building

You have it all figured out. When it comes time to bug-out you have your bag, all the supplies you need, and you may even have a shelter to run to when the SHTF. This is all great, and we applaud your ingenuity!

But then you get to your place, and suddenly there are few things you hadn’t counted on. Maybe you put your “shack” together during the good weather and even though you tested it again and again for inclement weather conditions – you may not have counted on the wind.

At first, it may not bother you but eventually you may want to think about a windbreak, just to make your home away from home a little more comfortable.

Survivor Lilly, one of our favorite video survivalist, shows us how she solved the problem and also advises us on the outcome of her efforts. Did it work? Check it on the video over on the next page!

I can’t do this anymore I give up. I have done been beat down to the point I just don’t give a damn anymore. Nothing in my life ever works for me. No matter how hard I try. I’m fucking done.

Albert Einstein said it is paradox to pray for peace and prepare for war at the same time. I tend to agree but do not consider myself to be an alarmist or a fool. If we were to get the type of scenario that is entirely possible, perhaps the lucky ones would be the people who fail to initially survive. Would the survivors of the holocaust agree with me, I cannot say. The ones who are left will wish that they paid more attention to the warning signs and prepared a little better can be said with authority. I have said before that the U.S. Marines say, ‘more sweat here, less blood there’! Wise words indeed, not to be taken lightly. If preparedness were likened to the Olympics, I would be going for none other than the ‘GOLD.’ Bronze will not cut it and silver will leave you thinking that if I only tried a little harder, I could have had gold! Whatever way you choose to go is entirely your business but be advised, THERE WILL BE NO GET OUT OF JAIL FREE CARDS OR FREE LUNCHES! Isn’t nature wonderful? She gives us all that we need to survive. What we do with it, she could not care less! The truth is, does not give a flying fig who survives or dies. She is merely indifferent! Ponder this as horrible as it may sound. I speak for myself only on this one. I fully believe that if I had my choice I would prefer a pandemic rather than an EMP or solar flare scenario. In a pandemic, there would be less people competing for food and shelter. In an extinction level event, it would take all of your waking hours just to survive any way you could. Use your imagination. The best advice is to prepare in accordance with what you can afford in time and money. To do nothing is foolish and to worry on how much is too much is equally foolish. Stay well my friends and use your heads for something other than a ‘hat rack”!
