(Video) Convert a Generator to Propane or Natural Gas – Here is How!

generator

If you live in a rural area or even a more sparsely populated suburban area, especially if you have severe weather, chances are you or one of your neighbors augments their power in the event of a power outage with a generator.

Most generators you buy run off of gasoline, but with price fluctuations, that can be expensive.

It also can be a pain to have to fill up the gas cell, particularly if you have to do it in the middle of the night in a blizzard because you forgot you were running low (not that that has ever happened to me.)

One way of addressing price fluctuations is to convert your generator to handle more than one type of fuel, most likely propane.

This conversion is easy and best of all it is inexpensive!

Check out the video on the next page to see how easy!
