At around $72, the flashlight, fire starter, survival tips and multi-tool are worth the investment and the compact, plastic carrying case makes the entire kit very unobtrusive.

While there are some drawbacks to the Gerber Bear Grylls Survival Tool Pack, none are game changers and most are matters of personal preference (having the survival tips able to be stored in the kit would be nice, but is not a critical need, for instance.)

The price is right and in a survival situation or even just on a camping trip, this pack would definitely be an asset.
