You may not notice them, but aluminum cans get discarded everywhere; if you train yourself to look for them, you will be nothing short of amazed.

As awful as it is that people litter or do not properly stow their trash, aluminum cans hold a lot of survival potential.

Aluminum cans are a great, free resource you can find just about anywhere, even in some of the most remote places on earth.

My favorite is the survival whistle; in a survival situation where you wanted to attract attention to yourself, it could really come in handy.
